This is the original version - far superior to the remake which appeared on greatest hits! This version is familiar to all of us who owned a copy of their debut album and then ... along comes The Association"- A truly magnificent work of art!!!!

This version really showcases Terry's rich baritone. Very different from most pop tunes in the 60s and since then.

This is the original version from their debut LP; the Greatest Hits version was a remake. IMHO, this version is superior, a little rawer & rocks out more. And personally I think the 2 different versions also show where the group sort of went wrong- they got a little too MOR as time went on.

With that title, it's a good thing Michael Jackson never covered this.

yes, I second that. I wasn't familiar with this original version, but I do love the greatest hits version!

Mr. EarpJohn, can you put up the 'Greatest Hits' track of 'Enter The Young' for contrast with this one? The more I listen to this, I realize they are entirely different, not just a different mix. It would be great to hear both versions! Cheers, mate! Keep 'em coming!

This is quite a different mix than the one included on the 'Greatest Hits' LP. In fact, this may be a completely different recording of the track. Anybody know the history of The Association's recording? Listen to this thing; there's a hell of alot going on in there! I likey!
