The members were twins Ed and Fred Farron and brothers Scott and Tom Herrick. Unfortunately, both of the Farron brothers have passed away.

These guys are amazing and my dads best friends in college. I was honored to have met them several times!

In 1966, I was 11, and madly in love with a neighbour girl named Susan. This song meant a lot at the time.

I never heard this song played on a radio station. Had it gotten more air play, it likely would have been a much bigger hit. #51 was a good position for a song that was hardly ever played on the top 40 stations. Most of its airplay was likely limited to easy listening stations.

I first heard this when the Arbor's appeared on Dick Clark's "Where the Action Is" in the late summer or early fall of 1966. I loved the song the first time I heard it. Unfortunately, we have lost both of the Farran twins who sung the higher parts, Ed and Fred. The other two members were brothers Tom and Scott Herrick.

Watch Helen's version of "It Might As Well Rain Until September." All males will melt, and, what a voice.

I saw the Arbors in concert back in '67, then hung our with them until about 2 AM. One of those fun nights I'll always remember. Glad to find it on YouTube, but the record has been in my personal collection for decades. It never grows old.

This brings back such wonderful memories from the summer of 1960. I was part of the crew at Many Glacier Hotel where they were young college kids (part of the entertainment crew for the season) enjoying the summer at Glacier National Park. I was one of many that was happy to see them go on with their music..
