Your post is 2 years ago and maybe you've read the book since then,and know now that this song has absolutely nothing to do with that character.(who is not as you summarize her.)They could've called this "Elisa The Beautiful",or "Michaela the Beautiful",(etc) after getting the idea from the book,but i guess they went with Remedios for marketing purposes. I doubt the writer(s) read it...If so,this wouldn't be called Remedios The Beautiful. (and if you haven't read it;That book is extraordinary)

oh my god i just found this band this is AMAZING the song is called remedios the beautiful because of one of the characters in the book 100 years of solitude. she is the most beautiful girl ever but she does not have the ability to think properly because of some birth defect or something
