it would be awesome to see the great severed ties and high hopes songs again at Amity's forthcoming concerts! These and the first EP was where it all began wasn't it?

Bands like this are the backbone of true music progression. They dont just reproduce the same sound - they stick to the genre but always experiment and try to make something new. You can clearly see how they came from this to singles like Pittsburgh and Open Letter. While this particular sound may appeal to a lesser volume of individuals, its excellent none the less.
