I love how there's no shallowness -- how everything in the world is honestly and completely disregarded by the singer, how the only thing that matters in the universe is Jesus Christ. This song doesn't reflect the "correct" response of feeling the Spirit of the Lord, but it reflects the natural, awe-struck, heart-captured response when you see His face. Hi my name is Israel and i am 18 years old i have found the lord and i feel amazing with his spirit and his presence guiding me through life. i want to request a prayer for me to help me convince my parents to let me go to a christian church because they will not let me go to church other than a catholic church because they believe in that a parent will guide their children to a better church. i was born and raised catholic but since then i have converted to Christianity. Its also good to remember, the Catholic church isn't just an abstract religion. It is composed of billions of devoted men and women that genuinely love god with their heart. Each and every single person coming together to raise up Christ through the church. They share in this love openly in religious practice as a mark of commitment to god. I love Jesus too and that's why i'm happy to join in the loving beauty of his inspired church.

Jon M, don't look down on others! contempt is seriously bad for you. Its good to correct someone but, its pretty silly to insult them for it and it comes off negatively. Christ instituted the church with st Peter. The bible was created by the Catholic Church in the Second century. Christ also instituted the sacraments, (Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation, ect..). The purpose of religion is to bring the good news to you so that you may live it in relationship with him. Gods 5th commandment was 'be holy the Sabbath'. Loving Jesus is a pretty good thing but lets remember how you found Christ and thank the many devoted men and women that made it happen.
