Never knew this song was good until now because I can't stand the police. Great job whoever this band is! I know a girl that's got a magic way. She could steal your car and crash it in the night and still fall in love with her anyway.

Eh...I hate to say it, but I'm not really digging this one. Dulli rarely misses with his covers, but this one just doesn't work (for me, anyway). It doesn't have the frenetic energy of the original Police song, and it doesn't put the trademark "dark underbelly of relationships" feel on it that Dulli did so well in some of his other cover tunes ("Come See About Me, Don't Call, etc.). Makes me kind of wonder how the song would have worked if Rick McCollum was still with the Whigs.Each to their own, of course. Just MHO, and all that.

there have been few bands that i've listened to since i could make my own choices about the music i wanted to hear. the +Afghan Whigs is one of those bands. i love this. never trying to be another band, but complimenting them. so good!
