Party rappers from the West Coast, tha Alkaholiks entered the hip-hop field by working with King Tee on his 1993 Tha Triflin' Album; after touring with KRS-One, Ice Cube, and Too Short, they found a major-label contract with Loud/RCA. The group came together in the early '90s, after DJ E-Swift (born Eric Brooks) and Tash (born Rico Smith) -- both raised in Cincinnati -- had worked together in Disturbers of the Peace (D.O.P.). The two settled permanently in Los Angeles and met J-Ro (born James Robinson), who had worked in Total Control with rapper Suavee D and King Tee (opening for the Real Roxanne and Dana Dane, among others), but was looking to move on. Named tha Alkaholiks, the trio worked with King Tee on his single "I Got It Bad Y'All," and signed to Loud/RCA for the 1993 single "Likwit/Only When I'm Drunk."

Bohemia Afterdark launched on TVs in 1982 and operated in Phoenix, AZ, but early history is unknown until 1990 when they moved to Portland, Oregon. In 1992 they began airing on KPDX Portland and then they move to KWBP in 1994. In 1995 they began airing on 22 Network One affiliates. In 1997 Network One shut down and the service moved to KOIN and in 2001, the service moved back to Phoenix, airing on KASW, then in 2002, moved to KPHO-TV. In 2003 they got their own station, KPHE-LP, at the time broadcasting on channel 19 in Mesa, Arizona, and changed their name to Bohemia Visual Music. KPHE moved to channel 44 in Phoenix in 2005.[2] Bohemia Visual Music changed their name to 24-7 Videos for a few months from mid-2005 to early-2006, then reverted to Bohemia Visual Music.

R.A.D.+H.E.R.

portions of this video was shot in San Francisco, i recognize the Muni transit buses and the red brick pavement on Market Street. some one commented that they sound like they are from the east coast because of their style of vocalizing. heres the point. "Rappers" do it for the business and the gimmicks regardless of the quality of their rhymes even if its wack as compared to a poetical Emcee. that east west coast distinction between the two styles if its West Coast Gangsta Rap or Eastcoast Emcee Hip Hoppin', the over all umbrella with its branches is the culture we all know as Hip Hop. Hip Hop is universal and so Emcees are universal whether your from the West Coast and with a style similar to Emcees From the East Coast. Rapping is a term loosely held and not taken to heart even if your an Emcee using that term. Rapping is a media term, The west Coast banked (made money) off of that term through N.W.A gangsta "rap" and became a typical house hold industry term for the west coast. so it sometime surprises people when Hip Hop Vocal artists sound like Emcees from the Eastcoast when they reside in the westcoast. this all happened in the 90's, and by now whether you are Rapping or Emceeing and you favor and work with a producer that produces Boom Bap Drums and your rhymes come off sounding like your from the Eastcoast, your voluntarily proving that Emcees are universal and you don't have to be from the Eastcoast region to have their style.
