The term "white man" surely does not mean perception. It's the term alot of people use to clarify more accurately the assimilation of the multicultural and native races. This in past history has been wars of domination. As far as America, The 2 percent of the total population in 2013 shown is not total Native, its mostly more than one race. I have some percentage of American Indian in my blood despite my obvious pale perceptive color. I can still relate to this song as it's not only of "single" race but of survival of true meaning and purpose of life, these core issues which sometimes can be traced back to our "roots" .
