Hate to break the news to you fanboys but a lot of people including myself find this guys act incredibly annoying, barely amusing and while he may have some musical talent its hard to appreciate when its something you cant stand to listen to.He seems like that dorky outcast kid in class who took himself way too seriously, wore black trenchcoats even in summer, and played dungeons and dragons with the only three friends he ever had and found a guitar... and those three friends think hes a superstar.No I didnt come here just to hate but its kind of absurd the way his fans assert everyone who dislikes him is wrong. So you find some value in his schtick.... many do not.I do assume he would be a pretty fun guy to hang around with. As long as he doesn't bust out the D&D.

I find it annoying that these people come comment here about Jack's singing. Clearly, these people are uneducated to the prowess that is Tenacious D. Jack has an incredible vocal range. Often times, people tend to not take him seriously. That is because his genre, Mock Rock, is supposed to be funny. If you keep his songs in context and not compare them to AC/DC or Led Zeppelin, they are actually very good musicians. This video is of him paying respects to Dio, not dissing him or trying to rip his song. Jack Black is one of my favorite Vocalists purely because he is true to himself and hasn't changed for anyone. Keep rocking Jack. Keep The D Alive.

You know he doesn't need to sound like him, look like, or even be perfect. he appreciates good rock and actually can perform it well. This was an acoustic set if anyone's concern with sounding like Dio. He sounds like Jack Black, a fucking rockin mother fucker who uses the money he earns in movies to support his true love which is music. Anyone who has negative things to say about Jack of Kyle are just evil pricks who aren't happy with their lives and like to bring down someone who has success in life. One day I hope to have as much success entertaining people. Mainly because I love to do it, and that is the most important rule, love, not hate.
