I was there!! I travelled 9hours by plane from Italy not to lose this wonderful happening...One of the most thrilling experiences of my whole life!!BBHC, TYA, and lots of artists who really performed in 1969! I was born 20 years later so...This was my only occasion! Thanks for publishing this video!!

@johndrobcuny i understand what your saying, but if Joe Gooch can do it, Alvin certinly could

@cheeseppuff On the original record, it was multi-track recording, which enabled Alvin Lee to play both the acoustic and also accompany himself on electric. That's why he didn't play it live - it would never be able to sound the same.

You guys ROCK....don't let the armchair critics get to you....if they had talent they'd be ON STAGE not critiquing. LOL Good job...great guitar, great music.

Alvin Lee does not look like he has aged a bit!! He must work out and keep in really good shape to keep his youthful looks. I guess we could all take a lesson from him. He still has it after all these years. Long live rock and roll!!!!

Sorry, the singer blows......

The guitarist's style reminds me alot of Slash and that part at 3:23 seems straight out of a different song. That being said, the guitarist was pretty good, but he is no Alvin Lee, and he sucks at singing.

Lighten up, it's a Woodstock revival not an impersonation. I hope 100 years from now someone is singing this song.

This singer is NO Alvin lee...he SUCKS trying to sing what Alvin created as one of rocvks greatest songs..this is embarassing to watch. 3 guys got together to make money and hired this "fill in" for the most important role in the group--the lead singer...so I WOULD call this a COVER BAND and this version of the song is awful
