Two masters at work. Richard Thompson can put anybody away- let's see Clapton play half of what Thompson does. At 1:55 flat picking, fingerpicking, slurring at the same time and all of it effortlessly. Jo-El is nothing less than a national treasure. I agree. Brit's in general like country music even back to the rockabilly days. Just listen to the Stones Beggar's Banquet somtime .... or Clapton's dabble "I Get Off On 57 Chevys" ... or, Robert Plant touring with Alyson Kraus ... Van Morrison likes country as well as many Brits - even very early Beatles and Jeff Beck.

The bend at 1:59 is pretty cool..but the banjo roll at the end of the song should have the rest of the band turning around to Thompson as if to say "whut the HELL are you doing back there?!?"

I never thought about going to Louisana, But took a cruise from there and the entertainment on the ship was Jo-El . I was so excited because I love his music. then I decided to stay a few days after the cruise , and fell in LOVE with the place. I can't wait to go back, Planning a trip there this winter.
