I've had mine for about a month now and I'm reAlly impressed. I'm super picky and send most guitars back. I can't tolerate a any fret buzz or tuning issues and this guitar seems to be perfect.

I bought my T3, in 2009..(the twin to the one you're playing) fantastic guitar....I actually think this is one of the most underrated guitars out there....I've been playing guitar since 1966, so I've owned my share of different makes and models....then I went to gibson and stayed with that, liked the way they played, and looked...I had a 1970 gibson 335 loved it....fell of the stage and broke the peg head off....stayed with gibson bought a 78 les paul...(which I still own) ...Then I bought a gibson 333....and a fender strat...(liked the sound,hated the feel)...2006 I bought my first taylor T5C2, and I switched..currently own 4 taylor's, plus the LP.....but the T3 does it all....just a fantastic guitar....

Ithink he is using a simple volume pedal. He is turning it up after picking the chord. i hope i did help you (sorry if my english is bad. i am german and not the best in english)
