TASCAM 4 TRACK CASSETTE RECORDER - AMBIENT TAPE LOOP DRONE IN E descargar videos gratis

Tape loop experiments with my Tascam 4 track recorder (part of my larger setup - The Suitcase of Drone). Each one of the 4 tracks on the cassette has a different note in E which forms a E major chord (with added 9th). I adjust each track to create a droning, evolving, ambient soundscape.

The 4 track is also run through a Mooer Spark Echo/Reverb pedal.

Hey would it be possible to send you some of my music files from a project for you to record into your casette recorder?

How long is your tape loop. It’s hard to tell. Judging by the spook on the right it looks super long.

Somewhere in my apartment I have that exact model of 4-track and about 50 tapes from my 1990-1993 band that were never mixed down from 4 to 2 tracks — or that were in various stages of being mixed down, since one could record 4 tracks, mix them to 2, record 2 more tracks, mix those down … except because of generational decay the earlier tracks would start to sound like mud quite quickly and would be inaudible by the third or fourth mix down. I wish I could find it, since due to variances from 4-track to 4-track, on top of voltage variances from socket to socket, no two cheap-o model 4-tracks record at exactly the same speed, and switching 4-tracks can mess with pitch if you're mixing down 6 or 8 tracks by using more than one tape. But I'd love to digitize and preserve my old band's music before those brittle 20-plus-year-old cassette tapes dry up into dust … dammit Tascam 4-track, where are you? Nothing to do with your sounds, just venting … but btw, kudos on your sound! I really dig it.

Hey, love your videos. How are you able to run this 4 track through an effects pedal? I assume you're using the line out since that looks like the only thing plugged in. Thanks!

Hi, love your ambient work. Do you have a recommended hand held tape recorder or 4track? I'm looking to incorporate tape looping in my setup. Thanks, great work as always!
