It doesnt ruin it at all, stupid shit like "hair metal" and shit, that's retarded, but it doesn't ruin anything, it's good to distinguish the types of metal, kind of like how if you say you like rock, you could mean classic rock, but someone might say, oh? jonas brothers, they're rock, i love them too i personally hate thrash but love power, death and plan old heavy metal, im glad i'm not grouped with the ignorance of thrash fans

"Core" which is used in Metal expressions to denote heaviness eventually becomes "Corny". So the music is so heavy "brutal" & the image so stupid it's "Corny". & It was already Cheesy to begin with because it is in a long line of Cheesy evolution from other Cheesy bands, so it is now "Cheese-Corn". The final element of definition for Cheese-Corn is lyrically it makes no sense except in its own world of delusion & followers, the lyrics do not apply to any level of reality or the real world.

Ohh but "Cheese-Corn Metal" already exists. I'm sure if you think about it there are bands that would qualify them as Cheese-Corn. I'll help define it: everybody heard of "Cheesy". Well "Cheese-Corn" is the next level of Cheese, it's exponentiation of the Cheese by a factor of 10 in metal genres. Adding "Corn/Korn" to it let's you precisely know it's about Metal & "heaviness". Cheesy Rock & some 80s stuff is like 1-10. Cheese-Corn is 10-20. Basically it's trying to be so "heavy" it's stupid.

"Marco saved Nightwish. Tarot are very good." (Ugly quote, I know) True for me too. Though Tarja was a good opera singer, the Nightwish before Marco was dead boring. Marco brung some needed balls to their songs.
