NOTE: Nitta-Jo was a French singer & stage actress in 1920/30s, her real name was Jeanne Daflon. She was one of the most enigmatic French theatre artists of the 1st half of the 20th century. Born about 1890, she had her debut in Marseille. From late 1910s thru 1930s she appeared on records, where she had been announced as theatre artist of the Parisian scenes, such as Alhambra or l'Empire. That's all about her, what was available for me in the web. The whole rest is to be listened to on her records.

Hello Grzegorz - this Tango sounds heavenly - her strong, beautiful voice reminds me a little bit of Edith Piaff's style - but I like her interpretation - more - since I consider - Edith Piaff - way overrated; she was a good singer - nevertheless.
