Its an American thing to place so much emphasis on "race" in the end that's the main thing that blocked her from mainstream success... that and poor Public Relations on the part of her label... too bad for them, America doesn't know what they are missing...

I believe if she would have found a Canadian or South Florida based label she would have been much better off... It still would have been very hard for her because of the way the American music scene is more or less split by race,(there are a few exceptions... but very few)she would have had a better chance.

@JJNani i don't think that is a fake tan since she is a quarter Cherokee, a quarter Chinese, a quarter Black & a quarter White, so she is turned out like this, but the hair is kinda bleached IMO. She's based in Jamaica though.
