Directed by Robert Hales.

Shot outside the country town of Mildura, 500 odd kilometres from Melbourne, the "Lucidity" video was a leap into the unknown, a series of experiments and blind faith launches into the final frontier, involving cameras being launched into space inside weather balloons, tracking all that went on below, including Tame Impala ripping through "Lucidity" from their debut full-length Innerspeaker.

Tame Impala serenade a weather balloon camera into edge of space....and yes we do live on a spherical planet just like all the other planets out there....getting tired of this you-tube flat earth dis-info psyop bullshit.

I can kinda see where the Beatles comparison is coming from, but for this song particularly this screams Syd Barret era Pink Floyd to me.

This video it's fucking amazing. It makes you wonder if they made it for the song, or they had the idea and made a song for it!

Yep. Definitely a smashup of the Beatles and Floyd. I'm surprised the Beatles were so popular... their music was just the studio doodlings of George Martin over the bare bones of incomplete song bits from John and Paul. It should have been called the George Martin Project. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of The Beatles or of this Floyd/Beatles mashup... comes off as pretentious.

Beatles need to be buried right now! We still talkin about them, and for fuck sakes. They disbanded SO many year ago. They're good, YES. But we need to change, we've been talking about beatles for 40 years, and i'm tired of it.

Underrated song, I think is the best song by Tame Impala, it´s hard to see them play it live...
