Home is where I want to bePick me up and turn me aroundI feel numb, born with a weak heartGuess I must be having funThe less we say about it the betterMake it up as we go alongFeet on the ground, head in the skyIt's okay, I know nothing's wrong, nothingI got plenty of timeYou got light in your eyesAnd you're standing here beside meI love the passing of timeNever for money, always for loveCover up and say goodnight, say goodnightHome, is where I want to beBut I guess I'm already thereI come home, she lifted up her wingsI guess that this must be the placeI can't tell one from the otherI find you, or you find me?There was a time before we were bornIf someone asks, this is where I'll be, where I'll beWe drift in and outSing into my mouthOut of all those kinds of peopleYou got a face with a viewI'm just an animal looking for a homeAnd share the same space for a minute or twoAnd you love me till my heart stopsLove me till I'm deadEyes that light upEyes look through youCover up the blank spotsHit me on the head

I love his awkward and jerky motions as he goes for the snack tray at the end of the film and end of the song then sneaks away after giving a pretty emotional performance in the basement of his trans granny.

There's actually an amazing mix of this beauty on Spotify, under 80s movies soundtracks. Would anyone know what mix that is? And why does it sound so much better?

Talking Heads were an American rock band formed in 1975 in New York City and active until 1991. The band comprised David Byrne (lead vocals and guitar), Chris Frantz (drums and backing vocals), Tina Weymouth (bass and backing vocals) and Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals). Other musicians also regularly made appearances in concert and on the group's albums. The new wave style of Talking Heads combined elements of punk rock, art rock, funk, avant-garde, pop music, world music, and Americana. Frontman and songwriter David Byrne contributed neurotic, whimsical lyrics to the band's songs, and emphasized their showmanship through various multimedia projects and performances.Critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine described Talking Heads as being "one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the '80s, while managing to earn several pop hits." In 2002, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Four of the band's albums appeared on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and three of their songs ("Psycho Killer", "Life During Wartime", and "Once in a Lifetime") were included among The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. Talking Heads were also included among both Rolling Stone 's and VH1's lists of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time".
