Take 6 performing So Much 2 Say back in the early days (1990) on Jay Leno TV show !! Check out Mervyn Warren on that last very high note haha

This is the best version I've ever heard and the quality is better than the other one posted here a while back so I uploaded this one !

Hope you enjoy.

pretty good quality here. This song is hard to find a good quality video of. It requires high quality sound to hear all the details since it's such a fast and complex song

Me encanta take 6!!!

That Extremely High Pitched "Ahh! Ahh!" At 1:24 Threw Me For A Loop.... THEN, I Heard Him Hit That Note At The End Of The Song On "Say What?!".... (1:43)

He had a certain "taste" which didn't go with their Christian beliefs

@msscott73 Mmm-hm. Mervyn left the group waayyyy back in 1991 right before they made the first Christmas album.

@LuKasAV6 WHAT HE LEFT?

Well, they've just "lost" Cedric Dent. He won't be singing with the group anymore. But he'll still be doing stuff behind the scenes. Welcome Kristian Dentley! A perfect replacement, if you ask me!

If Mervyn never left i feel Take 6 would have been more creative. (No disrespect to Joey)

@telj1 I feel the same way about Mervyn leaving Take 6. It also feels like the group doesn't have the same soulfulness.

@Deerych Middle Tennessee State University. He really is quite an amazing teacher/performer/arranger/musician. Really nice guy to!

Man is sucked that Merv had to part ways with the group. I think if he was still part, they'd still be doing complex stuff. Today's take 6 is good but NOT like the old.
