I really love this band and have all their cds. One of my absolute favorites a capalla bands which I hear a lot (and I did also a capalla active).But, it would have been better not to publish this recording because there are massive fine intonation problems - in some parts they really sing flat/wrong, concerning 1/4 or 1/8 tones (not halftones!). In most cases it's the countertenor. There could be different reasons like defect monitoring or they startet wrong and have some singers with perfect pitch in the group who tried to pull the others in their direction. Or the counter had a really bad day or was ill or was replaced by an amateur for this recording.Because a lot of people made a statement here that they did not notice it, I think it's not a problem for most listeners, and of course the composition/arrangement itself is brillant. But I'm a little bit ... astonished to hear this from THAT group which of course can do great live recordings (I have some). After all, we see: nobody is perfect, and it's not an easy task to sing on a professional level ...

Absolutely amazing, awesome!!! The harmonization is impeccable! I imagine how very hard it must be singing some of the inner voices (just like in a jazz horn section). I love these guys! The very best. This is on such a high musical level where any kind of criticism is ridiculous. We are so lucky to have these guys.

It sounds great to me, but then I don ot have perfect pitch which my husband tells me is a curse. I love their harmony and acappella style.

I'll admit, the intonation was a little shaky in places, but that could be due to any number of factors (mood, perhaps they don't do this song all that often, acoustics of the room, etc). Regardless, they still pull off a professional job, and I do like their arrangements. Trying to say one professional group is better then another is something only children and childish adults do. Either you like Take 6, and want to listen to more, or you don't.
