Chicago blues at its simplest and without a doubt at it's best!!!

The minimalist at its best. Anybody can play a boring same old same old tune like this but TM makes it interesting, at least in my opinion. Have a nice day.

Many better Taj jive exists. Just would not call it awful. Tis is a different culture. At least there is some soul. + a lot of intellect + education that would surprise some. Not My fav. But no problem.

No, Australia. But where I'm from doesn't change my opinion of this, David - sorry.

So many did a version of this; Besides Elmore, R. Johnson + many others I think would enjoy.

This old Caucasian Great-Grandma first saw Taj Mahal at the Long Beach (California) Blues Festival around 1982. Got some great photos of him while he was singin' da blues. He was, and still is a blues singer to be reckoned with. I also have this song by Elmore James. Check it out...it's great too. Rock on Taj....

I seen Taj perform this same style and approx year. I still hear those strings. He was pounding em. I never heard the acoustic the same again.

This is one of the most unique and fabulous versions of this song I have ever heard (much less seen). He takes Dust My Broom to a new level and really cleans up.
