Almost every power metal singer (Save for Mystic Prophecy or Sabaton) uses their falsetto. It would be impossible not to use it! However, Matos DOES sound like he's really struggling with this one. I give him credit because he's not as young as he was - and Tolkki probably should've written something more original and easier to sing for him :/

Yeah, Pavarotti didn't use it much but he used it well. A lot of tenors have to use it. Check out Pathfinder, their vocalist has one of the best head voices I've ever heard. :D
