I expected this to be a car crash bad cover. I was actually pleasantly surprised. It's not as good as the original in my humble opinion but it is pretty good. The fact that John Miles is more than a five second cameo does help and the young lady does have a rather nice voice too. I even like the instrumental breaks (although I think they lack the sheer grace and power of the original). Overall a solidly done cover of a great song that actually doesn't look like a travesty. Good stuff.

Just workin' on a remix - the piano + vocals sections from this track plus the instrumental sections from the original. Too bad the last vocal part (finale) of the original is missing in this version. Still some work to do, but first raw cut sounds great. :)

I have no clue who john miles is but it sounds like the original was a classic somewhere and that he was proud of it..i am sure his son john miles jr had a hand on getting sylver to cover it since he is in sylver
