It's about the phrase "to be a dark horse" I think it comes from horseracing where a horse that no one knew about and wasn't expected to win the race does so anyway. In the same way people might not know about us as Christians but because we have God on our side we can do great things through his strength, so we can be dark horses that come into the front and be bold and shine a light for Jesus :)
