Regardless of the evocative period images which are always good to see this is a superb,faultless Ambrose performance which demonstrates that his was the premier dance band of the time. Hylton was as polished but was more of a 'show' band I believe.

@abendstunde49 Well, perhaps Mayfair is not exactly the same as the Astor where people go and loose the things ("She had to go and lose it at the Astor...") but one better be careful, especially if the "affair" is meant to be "grand"... :-)
