People say Lou couldn't sing because he didn't have much range or he wasn't always in key or he didn't cleanly fit the lines into the song. But people who love Lou's voice love it because it's his. He's so earnest in this song. His voice is beautiful for it because it comes from his heart. His voice was so expressive in many different ways. And although monotone, it could be full of fire at times and make you cry at others.
