Um...dude...this is not the demo version. It may not be the album version, but it's not the original demo.

This is PIG FACE with Al from Ministry, Ohgre (from skinny puppy sing the chorus with Trent) It was recorded in Pittsburgh in 1989. Coincidently Ohgre and Skinny Puppy were a huge influence on Trent.

Just FYI, this was a Pigface song initially. And that made sense because the NIN version is miles better. The 1st version was on 'Gub', the first pigface album in 1991. That version later reappeared on the best of. There was a live version of 'Suck' on the following Pigface live album too, so if we're counting live versions, there's four versions. Then Broken was released with Trent's version in '92, making it technically a cover of Pigface, albeit a cover of a song Reznor sang on initially.

For those that don't know. This comes from the cd with the picture in the video. It has Suck (Live) and Supernaut. The cd looks exactly like that on the front and the back has an NIN stamp. The cd is labeled as Halo 00, and each one is numbered. There are 2000 copies. Back in early 90's I picked up 4 copies from college music shop for couple bucks each.

Ah! There's the problem. And All That Could Have Been is the only NIN CD I don't have, and I've never seen nor own a copy of the video, though I did recently download the "DVD" version of it, and plan to watch it when I have the time to.

As people have said, this is NOT a demo version of Suck, but a live version of Suck. Still great though, as I've never heard a live version of Suck, and I never knew that NIN played it live.
