I think you have perhaps missed the point too. I didn't one day turn round and think 'fuck this, I'm becoming a Thatcherite' I just realised that I was acting in a certain way and saying certain things because it was expected to be said and you didn't have an different opinion else you were some sort of moron.I totally agree with you last sentence and it is basically the way I try to operate. I still believe in some of the principles...just not how things will be changed.

You see, this is what I'm talking about. I didn't 'fail' at anything, I began questioning my views and whether I truly believed what I was saying or just going through the motions. This is how I look at it. When you choose being a "revolutionary","punk" or whatever label you wanna place on it,its a lifestyle choice that you can change at any point in time and join the rat race. But for me its a life long decision,so many ex -teenage rebels. It may seem like we're going nowhere sometimes but if you hold tight to yer convictions and beliefs and surround yerself with like minded individuals things should werk out for the best. Don't bash on the scene b/c you failed at it.

The thing that gets me is that if you do think for yourself and happen to disagree with what bands like Subhumans are saying, you are automatically classed as some sort of robot/moron. Well I've been on both sides of the fence and far prefer my life these days to when I was on the dole for years. (and pretending I was some sort of rebel) And Dick, I don't take your word for it. Because I disagree...is that ok or am I am sheep?
