In redoing this song, Tommy softens his vocals a bit. Although the music has a more energized feel, and bigger production sound, which I love.

It is hard to accept change, if you had is on vinyl or saw it performed live. It isn't perfect just like your first true love can't be duplicated, but they are still awesome and yes I bought the double CD, because I lost my entire vinyl collection (and I had everything they put out) I have a daughter born the same year as Tommy Shaw's and they are both named Hannah. Funny because I told everyone in High school that I was secretly engaged to Tommy, hey a girls gotta dream

..... My goodness, I didn't want to listen to the guy's re-recording their albums when I heard about this.  I am a little lost here, what was the point of making (in my opinion) worse mixes of some great songs.  Nowhere near the original.  Sounds like a cover band.
