Why do people seem to have a problem with adding a positive message to music? So What if they would sound like any other band without the lyrics. If heavy metal is not devils music then the content of the lyrics, intention, and heart of the music is what matters. Not if they sound like or similar to secular music. If You know God can still use it, then why question it harshly? Especially if only God can truly answer the question. Asking if Stryper was really interested in spreading God's message or just using God's name for fame, can only really be answered by the band and God. And whether or not God will except it and use is up to God alone. Not our own person criticism. That's What I believe. Whenever I find something to be a challenge that has me questioning someone else's intention with God's message, I put myself under a microscope and realise that I mess up everyday but that doesn't make me less of a child of God or mean I don't want to glorify him with my gift. I realise that I'm judging and humble myself. This is my opinion of the whole Judging war in the Christian community about music. The Bible speaks against us judging yet we ignore it. There's a fine line between disagreeing and judging in our world seemingly and Christians especially should be careful. It's easy to judge than to be humble. I learned this the hard way.

I think some body is misguided here. Jesus was kind and did not judge people. Stryper lives by the same principle; they don't want to judge there fellows. Amen to that. Love, kindness and tolerance of others is the only way to go for me.When Black Sabbath got started somebody gave them crosses to wear as protection. Tony Iommi Still wears a cross around his neck; so does Ozzy. Hmm.... Interesting isn't it.

ever since stryper was (reborn) they been playing bands that reject jesus and all he did on the cross for us. and even made on a cd to glorify these bands like ozzy, vanhalen who says (you dont have to die and go to heaven or hang around to be born again) and many more, this reborn stuff of stryper they are glorifying satan more then god, and telling people its ok to listen to the bands that reject jesus that stryper glorifys on there covering cd (stryper sold out to satan) dont be decieved
