as far as Rise Against goes, they formed from an old Chicago punk band called 88 Fingers Louie. 88 Fingers as well as Rise Against were on Fat Wreck Chords as well.. Rise Against thanks bands like Strung Out for helping them get where they are today, and played many shows opening for Strung Out. Strung Out til DEATH

Damn so many people have no fukn clue..Strung Out released their first album in 1994, Another Day in Paradise. They have no reason copying Arcade Fire who I believe released their first album about 10 years after that. Strung Out is the true underground as they've been doin it all these years without a major label & without any airplay. One of the last honest underground punk bands. In fact just saw them & Lagwagon open for PW last weekend at the Palladium. A historic punk show. Know the history

Clearly they were influenced if not straight copying Arcade Fire. Clearly. Clearly. Copying. Arcade Fire. Kings of Leon also. I am not even going to mention the Black Eyed Peas. AND Clearly FYP has copied Strung Out.
