They really dont. They dont create tension or release at all. If you played this on a guitar it would sound like a childrens song. A bad childrens song. I know, thats why I told you not to be naive. How do you know they have some knowledge? This song sure doesn't require any knowledge. I remember kids who wasnt even musicians who made songs like this when I was a kid on that program DeeJay. You asked if childrens choir is music, I said: Depends what they are singing(like talking to a door)

The repetitions do complement other parts of the song, they ARE part of a whole. This is not a children's song, in what manner is it a children's song? No one established in the music industry doesn't make music for money. This band has 'some' knowledge of what they're doing. And they're not just using electronic sound you know. You linked the children's choir as well did I to the music so when you say, 'is is not music just kids singing A tone' you are using that in reference to the topic.
