Stone Temple Pilots' music is like going over to someone's house and them offering you a piece of pie that's way too sweet, and then insisting that they came up with the recipe, when you saw the recipe on the kitchen counter. I enjoy it, but it's extremely derivative.

Wow. This really was one of the most stupid moments of the Nineteen-nineties - possibly of all time?Wtf happened in the 90's where bands got *sooooo preposterously, blatantly bad* they literally seemed like some absurd Saturday Night Live parody come to life??? *HOW DID THESE BANDS EVER GET RECORD CONTRACTS???!!!?*Oh right. *Sucking Satan's cock* That would also explain the coinciding lowering of the standards of the Earth so the mindless masses were too stupefied to notice that the sonic Soma Mtv was brainwashing them with was absolutely talentless crap. Also: i never really noticed how truly ugly these guys were. When your bass player is the *least* fugly band member, you got problems. Is this song actually *about anything??* Or just another of Weiland's Heroin trips?

"Sometimes, drugs are the ultimate gateway to fantastic music. For musicians, that is." I believe that all artists, whether writers, artists or musicians who have genuine talent find that their creations are numbed by drugs. It's the wannabe creators who use drugs and booze. Sure, you hear about old time writers who used to write 'classics' while boozed up or in a stupor due to opiates.Natural artistic talent comes from the subconscious mind, I believe. No one can be a true artist in any genre without having a close connection to the subconscious mind, or letting the subconscious naturally take over while they are creating.

Tiny Music was a great album. The music had tons of 60's influence which I loved.
