Stiff Little Fingers 1999 concert featuring the rare opening song of Straw Dogs which was a 1979 single but didn't feature on any album apart from the later compliation All The Best. SLF at their angriest!

Amongst my favourite ever SLF songs - Jake Burns is an enormously under-rated songwriter, and, indeed vocalist. From that fabulous gritty sound on Suspect Device, he developed into one of the best vocalists ever on Now Then

SLF are an IRISH punk band. That rpaxon must not know White Noise, or Johnny Was, or Tin Soilders, or this song or most any song by SLF. HANX!

For some reason one of my favorite musical facts is that Bruce Foxton ended up w/ the Fingers. They might be the most underrated first wave British punk band (at least if we discount virtually unknowns) and Foxton was criminally underrated as a contributor to the Jam (much like Mick Jones, George Harrison, and many other of rock's great second-fiddles).
