Why is anyone even attempting to compare Nat King Cole's version to this one? What are people thinking about? Stevie Wonder was a 13 year old boy whose voice hadn't even changed when he made this song and Nat King Cole was a grown ass man. Get a grip! Sheesh! Now, if you were trying to compare Nat King Cole's version when he was 13 to this one, that would be the comparison to make.

13 years of age yet his voice can send a woman into a day dream state in an instant, truly someone with surplus talent.

I know a message alike mine is written after almost every great song on youtube but, seriously, 3 dislikes? who are the earless, heartless 3 people who disliked this? I won't discuss music tastes, for me it's just stunning, breathtaking, truly amazing how beautiful, painful, powerful, life holded in a song, holded in a voice, can be.

@Dummiemissiontv Hi, I am Luis Moya from Mexico. I have always admired Stevie Wonder since i was 15 or so (I am now 59). I just heard Janelle Monae´s version and I really liked, but i still like Stevie´s version, cause i think he is a master of singing, composing and performing. By the way my friend, what about Michael Jackson´s version? That is one of the best interpretations I have ever heard. My salute and my respect to you

I know this song through Janelle Monae's version. The first rendition of a standard you hear may always be the best in your memory, but I think hers is uncomparable to the rest, from Nat King Cole's original to Michael Jackson's, which compete for cheesiness. Janelle takes the tempo out of this song, to keep the fantastic melody and the emotions that Chaplin has undoubtably put into it. This notwithstanding Stevie Wonder is one of the greatest musicians and voices of all time.
