I'm not a guitar player, but have a love for music. Stevie had a way about him that made you admire the person that he was, and the music that he played. You can tell that it was coming form his heart. I was fortunate enough to see his last solo show in Kalamazoo Michigan, only to hear on the radio on Monday that he had passed away. Have to give gudo's to the band as well. What a devastating moment if must have been to them. They were great as a three man band.

@BluesVaughan Stevie played in the same key and the same chords all song. Basse started in wrong key.

@JamesSquire71 from another point of view we could also say that he was allowed that opportunity to get straight and get right before his time was up-and he took it, then God took him while he was walking the right path. I emailed his mother Martha about a year after he died and shared my feeling with her about him and my heart for her and her loss. I was shocked I got a reply, but the next morning there it was in my inbox .I have kept it all these. That I was able to comfort her was my joy

@HighMindedLunacy If I had one wish it would've been to ground that bloody helicopter. But who wouldn't want that most famous guitar... Stevie what a legend. You have to wonder why fate could be so fked and take Stevie when he'd won his battles with alcohol & drugs. And was playing the best guitar of his career, not that his older stuff was bad by any means. But you could see in his later stuff he was a happy man & it come out through his guitar as well :)

I have always said if I be granted one wish for any possession on this earth- my one wish would be.. to have Stevie's guitar - that most beloved, trustworthy - #1 What a treasure Stevie was...a bright star that burned so bright-and then it was gone..but that light left behind traces of where it had been,,forever.. his music-remains.

Some dude posted on here ''Like it or not Stevie wanted to die young'' Now that's a fuckin crock , why would he clean up and start living healthy then? When Stevie died he was loving life and trying to help others sober up and embrace life!!!
