Damn. I did not know that SRV had been on Letterman. Paul Schaffer and the World's Most Dangerous Band must have loved that shit.

always hated how they always had to have those idiots play in the background on every single song, just to give them something to do. god forbid they just sit the damned song out and let a vastly better player do his thing.

I don't think he ever used chorus pedals live. He used a Leslie Speaker Cabinet a lot, and that is probably what's giving the chorus effect here. He had a vintage Tycobrahe Octavia pedal. That's probably what he's using on the first solo. I believe he generally used his Texas Square Face Fuzz pedal on Tightrope rather than his Tubescreamer.

Sounds like he's using an octave fuzz pedal on the solos or possibly just two TS10's. And also, it sounds like he's using a Fender Vibratone cabinet.

The hat causing there to be shade covering his eyes makes him even more badass.

Will Lee is a great bass player, however whatever happened to copping what's on the record ? They played it too slow,or slower than what is on the record.
