He's not in the sound mix at all, or very low. None of that soloing you hear is him. Look @ 00:54 he's still way up on the neck acting like he's doing something during a break in the song. Later @ 2:17 he's at it again, this time pretending like he's soloing while another guy actually is. They quick cut to the guy who's actually soloing a couple times, and you can tell he's actually playing guitar, whereas Steven is basically playing air guitar.
