Once again, Mr James is a master! The only possible thing I can say about this performance is that close to the end he played a couple of thirds sharp. In the Vai style it would have fitted better if they had been played naturally on the first and sharp on the second. That is not to say that it doesn't fit as it certainly does, and Mr James has more than enough right to do a little expression :-)9 years ago

this wasnt in Vai's style, his lick library Steve Vai style licks was dead on and was perfect. this is was fantastic stuff but not in Steve Vai playing style, oh well9 years ago

Very good guitarist, but this sounds like him not Steve. Still good, but experienced guitarists can tell that the sound is nowhere close.9 years ago

More or less like Vai. However, he totally lost the Vai feel with those alternate picking licks, should've been more legato to sound more fluid like Vai.10 years ago

Where is this "single lesson", what's it called and does it cover the whole solo as shown in the video? I can only see the "complete issue bundle" in the store. Also, how is this lesson delivered?
