Actually, the orchestra that Malmsteen used were actually bullshit orchestras, IF you want to then separate the orchestras and conductors. Vai used a little better but still not the top orchestras or conductors, at least seen by most classical critics.

There are well over 100 top classical composers to study. It's what time period, geographical location of the composers, styles, etc. I don't have time to list them all. I figure if you want to study classical music, you can delve into those you find most compelled to study. Some people study Classical music and they can tell which Conductors are orchestras to listen to and which ones are bullshit.
