Oh and he popped up with another unknown artist by the name of Michael Jackson on a song called "Dirty Diana" that only charted at #1 in the U.S. and top 10 all over the world. The "King of Pop" only uses unknown guitar players like Eddie Van Halen and Slash. Just because an artist has sold some records and is recognizable does not dimish them in any way, what would him being unknown "bring to the table"? Look at his record label, he does what he wants.

Steve Stevens isn't well known? To the Justin Beiber crowd maybe, anybody over 30 knows who he is and loves/respects the man and his skills. The guy has appeared on every Billy Idol album and is featured in most of the videos because he is the talent in that band.

@rockslovers he's not underrated among musicians.....people who are into music know who he is....and that's just fine! He played for Michael Jackson...you have to be the best to do that and him and Eddie were the biggest guns in the 80's.... so there's nothing underrated about being recorded in Michael Jackson's music video Dirty Diana,.. or being the creator of the renowned Top Gun Anthem :)
