Steve grew up in Queens. He taught himself piano , and started writing music & singing before he was 10. . He was in a doo wop group in the early 60s, then had songs recorded by Dean Parish (Determination), The Spellbinders (We're Acting Like Lovers) & others. In the late 60s he became a studio musician, had two hit records (Mercy, Sweeter Than Sugar), both by the Ohio Express & then spent a lot of time background singing & singing on Jingles. In the early 70s he recorded his album that contained the song "Let Me Be Forever", written by Steve's friend Steve Tudanger. He & Tudanger co-produced an album for legendary songwriter Ellie Greenwich (Let It Be Written, Let It Be Sung). In the 80s, he created studio group Nature Zone & had a hit with Porcupine. He's still around & doing well.
