What is it with these guys and their music. I don't think they have made one song that isn't amazing and great. I can listen to them all day long and never get tired of their music. The quality of their recordings is second to none and the songs just speak to me in a way no other music does. It's almost like they know what you are thinking or have experienced the same things and just put the thoughts to music. I love this stuff.

Couldn't agree more with your comments above - Katy Lied, Pretzel Logic and Royal Scam are their masterpieces, a run not equaled in musicianship by any other recording artist, in my humble opinion. But then again, if you can't tell - Steely Dan are my favorite all time band - Outre Vous Dan Steel.

I f Steely Dan was the only music the world had to offer I would still be satisfied, funny Loved them early with cbat,kind of got into other stuff till Gaucho heard that and thought I heard the music of the Gods, kinda got into other stuff till they started touring and then I devoured the whole thing all the works listened to it all and seen them live twice in the front row ten times in all and at my age now 55 I can say with authority this is the band I will always love the most!! Pretzel logic indeed!
