If you ignore the '1,2,3' at the beginning, and the 'hey' at the end, this is a great instrumental from the legendary Steeleye Span

My boss just heard me playing Saor Patrol and asked if I had ever heard Steeleye Span. So, off to YouTube I go, and I'm hooked. These guys are really good.

Yes, but it is supposed to SOUND like a live recording, I imagine.

As if others haven't one, two, three(d) in the studio. I must have heard it two hundred times!

I agree, I have the album.

It's a studio recording from the "Now We Are Six" album. Nothing live about it; Peter Knight's talents do not include playing two mandolins and a tenor banjo at the same time.

@frayedknotarts I would have loved to see a concert with Dave Swarbrick and Peter Knight in 1976!!!! Other videos show Knight using a synth to reproduce mandolin, so I'm not sure he was at the level Swarbrick was on that instrument. Does anyone know? The vocal at the end is typical for instrumentals, signaling the band that this is the last go-round.

The one, two, three clearly identifiesthis as a live or different than the released version....that's worth something to a musician, even if you don't like it.!!!!
