There are words and a translation on Wikipedia.... pretty accurate too. I love/adore the sound of this version but LOATHE the pronunciation of 'Virgine' sholul be 'Veergine' NOT 'Vurgine' sorry to be picky bit have been singing it all my life!! (Well 50 years of it)

Absolutely gorgeous! I've loved this piece all my life. I remember waking up one Christmas eve night, as I'd fallen asleep watching telly, and was waiting my parents to come home from the pub. Ok, I was around 14, which is fine. And I just heard this piece of music as the old bbc one depiction of the earth was spinning around to determine it was the end of programming, and I've remembered it forever. David Icke's gig at Wembley from 2014 is now on YouTube and have been watching some of that, and many hours more to watch, of course. Then I played this track. Anyway, just thought I'd share this with the world. Just gonna play the piece again...
