Are any of these people the originals who played this in the original videos of the mid 70's. I'm especially curious about the fiddle player.

I don't often post anything folky but I use to love these guys and the audience weren't bad either

People try to write how this folk singer or that folk singer is better etc. Sure the other girls have angelic voices suited to a princess singing out of a tower but Maddys depth and tone carry this whole period.

One of the few singers who still sounds great with some years behind them.

Mid 70's and settling in for an evening of light-hearted entertainment with Jethro Tull. The back up band takes the stage. "What's this?" We all wondered. She was light on her feet and her voice was simply sublime. The band was a wonderful combination of Scottish, Irish, and English folk music with a rock and roll kick. We were all mesmerized as their music filled the air. They were training our ears for something entirely new yet traditional. And we say THANK YOU to Steeleye Span.
