Apparently you don't know much about Miljenko Matijevic OR Steel Heart, or you'd know why Jeff Soto was asked to lay down the lyrical tracks for the movie (while Steel Heart did the music, as I said).... but go ahead and believe you know more than I do about this song, it's origination, it's use in the movie Rock Star and it's popularity. Whatever, dude.

You are correct that Jeff Soto sang the version for this movie. You may be interested to know that the band Steel Heart did the music while Jeff laid down the vocal tracks because Miljenko Matijevic was having trouble with his larynx at the time. I was correct, yet you are too. Thanks for the smart-alec reply, dude. I got a good laugh out of it. By the way.... the song was actually written by The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar, though, so he actually deserves the real credit for the song's power.

Miljenko and Jeff took turns singing lead on the songs for the movie, which is obvious if you listen. Certain songs, Jeff is the backup vocals and other times it's Miljenko. Jeff happens to sing lead on this song.
