and you also can't just say "stay out of Africa". Each country needs to be evaluated independently. Military action in Sudan would be the wrong move, military action in CAR to capture Joseph Kony would be the right move, imo. You can't just lump the whole continent together and make one decision. Also, to just abandon the people of Libya would destroy everything Ambassador Chris Stevens worked so hard for and ultimately gave his life more. Hope these comments dont annoy you, have a good day!

haha im chilled man. Thats the problem with youtube comments, you can't tell someone's tone over the internet. My apologies if i came across as angry or aggressive. But by basic protection I meant the actual government in Khartoum would provide it (fat chance under Bashir I know). There is a major difference between military action and a government providing basic police protection.

chill out man, "some basic protection" that is what i meant by military action. Meaning the military would have to act and put troops on the ground.. The military would be the ones to provide protection for the people and relief aid etc.. I didn't mean start a war with individual warlords or with the country.. My opinion is that we should stay out of africa... especially after what happened last month..

To gain independence for Darfur, a landlocked area with almost no infrastructure and no economy outside of basic agriculture? No sir, military action is not the answer in Darfur. The answer in Darfur are sanctions and ex post payments and agreements after Khartoum gives those poor people a little autonomy, a few roads and schools, and some basic protection

Of course he completely messed it up in practice, and he probably did it for all the wrong reasons, but the fact that the world just sat around while Saddam Hussein slaughtered thousands of his people... well, the world is much better off without him, counterweight to iran or not.
