As someone who grew up in the prequel era, I love them. But also my parents had the original Star Wars movies on VHS and I remember me and my bro watching them about ten times a day when I was five years old. So to all the people who hate the prequels, I can understand why you hate them but for the people who grew up in the prequel era love them. So just agree to disagree.

people say that prequels were bad but it's still better to have droids that actually killed some people rather than the stormtroopers who barely hit Leia in the shoulder or Han escaping from a room with 200 stormtroopers.Plus,i like more the 'era',i mean jedi fighting droids, rather than having a bunch of rebels and some ewoks trashing enemies that are in technologicaly superior

I think the movies were okay if they had some of the scenes edited or removed. George Lucas probably had too much money too spend on making them. As a result he had lost his creativity.

The saddest part in star wars history to me was when Anakin fell to the dark side and when order66 was given seeing every single Jedi killed and when Anakin killed his wife and revenge of the Sith had the most amazing duels ever Anakin vs Obi-wan and Yoda vs sidious:). when phantom menace came out me and my dad saw every star wars movie 1-3 up to revenge of the Sith i think the first movie i ever saw when i was growing up was star wars the phantom menace:) i love every star wars movie in don't hate any of them:). So to me star wars was a huge part of my child hood:).

Dam forget there was one more character the book darth Plaguis destroyed. Darth Maul was never even really a sith since his training was approved of by Plaguis. He was just a force trained assassin who was fooled into thinking he was a sith.

I just hope that the star wars rebels would answer lots of un answered questions before episode 4 ,since it is 14 years after episode 3 revenge of the sith

The Third Star Wars movie, ie. Revenge of the Sith, was spectacular. It featured some of the best vistas in the series, and a plot twist that was semi-decent, made the movie on par with the originals. It was a different Star Wars that featured a much darker plot, and was different than all the others due to the serious plot, which made the film all the better. Star Wars 2, Attack of the Clones, had it's moments and vistas, but really only existed as a set-up film. They also killed off Jango Fett, which is a shame as he could have had more if a role. But altogether the film was pretty slow. Star Wars, The Phantom Menace, however was not very good at all. It did, like Clone Wars, have it's moments, but the movie was too much exposition, and too much resolution. They killed off one of the cooler antagonists in the series much too early, Darth Maul. It did not deliver very well at all, as so much more could have been done. As a Saga, the prequels were okay, but anyone that's not a hardcore Star Wars fan can skip the 1st movie, not much there. The 2nd can be boring at parts, but is definitely worth it for a good chunk of the scenes. The 3rd is a must see, and delivers in all accounts, but some die hard fans may find the film to not feel enough like Star Wars.
