When I was 13 this song was on the radio and I loved it. And still after trying to find it and calling the radio stations in Perth West Aust no one ever heard of it, told them check the archives (I use to work in radio so know bits and pieces) still no one heard of it let alone Splinter... So after years of trying to find it here it is, thank you so much.. and I still know all the words..

I took records like this for granted when I was a kid. They just seemed to always be there as a soundtrack to my life even when I didn't know who the singers were.

Three people didn't like this! Perhaps they really appreciate the Simon Cowell lead cxxp that plagues us today. Splinter, great! Thanks for a super upload.Al

Well, I would think it sure helped their careers along rather well...and not sure how many releases George put out on his label, but I would think this is one of just a few....(?)....at least I have it on vinyl, in mint condition...to me, it goes in the same special bin as Asylum Choir and Emitt Rhodes....(I mention those and people have no idea who I'm talking about)...that is the "sad" part I guess. But Emitt is playing and singing in CA and Leon Russell here and there...how about Bill & Bob?

Sorry Tom. Dhani Harrison won't re-release these great songs on CD. Why I don't know! I know Bill Elliott well and he doesn't know either. What I do know is that Bill always speaks fondly about his day's with George. Although this was a great song, Bill and Bob Purvis (a genius in my opinion) wrote and sung some wonderful songs which were simply lost in time. So sad!

I have this on vinyl - got it when it came out - and always liked it. George's sense of humor is great, putting fun energy into the production, along with great production value....Thanks George....would be cool to find this on CD...was that ever released anyone know?
